1. Your files

Files you select in our tools (PDFs, images, Word, Excel and CSV files and so on) and any text, passwords or signatures you enter are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or any other server. We never collect, store or view them.

To make later use faster, the OCR (text recognition) tool stores its recognition data (language data) in your browser’s storage (IndexedDB). This data contains none of your files or personal information, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Your name, email address and message when you contact us
• Pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate region, collected by analytics tools (this does not identify you personally)
• Access logs (such as IP address and time) recorded automatically by our hosting and CDN provider

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiries
• To understand how the site is used and improve it
• To keep the service secure, for example by preventing unauthorized access

4. Cookies and analytics

We may use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information. This information is anonymous and does not identify you personally.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, or stop data collection with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For details, see Google’s privacy policy and terms.

5. Advertising

We may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense in the future. Ad providers may use cookies to show ads based on your interests. You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ad Settings. Even when ads are shown, the files you process with our tools are never sent anywhere.

6. External data transmission

The site uses the following services, and information may be sent from your device to these providers (disclosed under Japan’s Telecommunications Business Act):

• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): to deliver and secure the site. Information sent: IP address, pages visited, device information
• Google Analytics (Google LLC), if enabled: to analyze site usage. Information sent: pages visited, device information, cookie identifiers
• Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.), if enabled: to analyze site usage (no cookies are used). Information sent: pages visited, device information
• Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), only when you use the contact form: to receive your message. Information sent: the name, email address and message you enter

7. Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

8. Access, correction and deletion

If you would like to access, correct or delete personal information you provided when contacting us, please contact us using the details below. We will respond appropriately after confirming your identity.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when necessary. The updated policy takes effect when it is posted on the site.
